Intimate and stylish, total elegance in a rather subtle way, The Oberoi Mauritius is located on the north west coast, 50 minutes from the airport and just 15 minutes from the restaurants and bars of Grand Baie.
The 71 pavilions and villas are single storey with thatched roofs and all face the sea although many are set back in the tropical gardens. The Luxury Pavilions are beautifully decorated with romantic four poster beds, sunken baths and spacious terrace. The Luxury Villas are indulgent but highly recommended! They are larger than the Pavilions with a separate living area, and are set in a private walled garden with open-air dining pavilion.
Facilities at The Oberoi Mauritius include two main swimming pools, two restaurants offering mouthwatering food, tennis courts, a well equipped gym, and a selection of non motorised water sports. There is also a kid's club and families are welcomed, but the property is a tranquil haven and has more of an adult ambiance. A special attraction of the resort is the spa, regarded as one of the best in the Indian Ocean.
